In this video, I provide a beginner’s guide to DeFi (decentralized finance), which is also known as “open finance” or “permission-less finance.”

DeFi is an attempt to rebuild the traditional financial system using software protocols that are built on top of the Ethereum network. The goal of DeFi is to have a completely decentralized, open source, uncensorable, permission-less financial system that is available to everyone– and beyond the greedy reach of governments and central banks.
