NEW CarPlay Apple Intelligence – iOS 18.1 BETA 1
Apple has released the developer beta of iOS 18.1, which brings Apple Intelligence to CarPlay. This feature allows for more personalized experiences, such as Siri being able to recognize voice commands and provide more accurate information. For example, you can ask Siri to show you the weather forecast, and it will display the current temperature and conditions.
The new CarPlay also features a new animation for the home screen, and the ability to customize the wallpaper with new black-themed options. Additionally, the music app has been updated to display larger album artwork, and the settings app now includes color filters and text size adjustment for better accessibility.
Another exciting feature is the new "Record Phone Call" feature, which allows you to record phone calls and save them to your notes app. However, this feature is only available on the iPhone, and you still need to physically grab your device to start recording.
The accessibility features in CarPlay have also been improved, including the ability to enable sound recognition, which alerts you to nearby sirens and car horns. You can also enable voice control, which allows you to control your device with voice commands.
The video also touches on the new features in Apple Maps, including redesigned icons and 3D effects. However, the pinch-to-zoom feature is not available in this beta version.
Overall, the new CarPlay Apple Intelligence features in iOS 18.1 BETA 1 bring a more personalized and accessible experience to your driving experience.
